The DKPTO has in-house expertise in negotiating and amending treaties concerning patents, utility models, trademarks, designs, enforcement and other IPR related matters involving a broad range of professions such as lawyers, engineers and economists. As national legislation is highly influenced by international harmonization DKPTO pays great attention to and plays an active role in the international development of IPR both when it comes to policy making as well as binding legislation.
